The main fun math workbooks task of higher education institutions is to train competent specialists capable of freely navigating in the modern information space and ready not only to master the information culture, but also to constantly improve their professional skills. With the advent of new software tools, the study of graphic disciplines becomes particularly interesting and relevant, as their content and methods of learning are changing. Full development of the professional education system is now impossible without the use of the latest computer technologies, which can be used not only in the learning process, but also in the management system of the university and any of its divisions, including the department. Therefore, the teachers of the Engineering and Computer Graphics Department pay close attention to computer literacy.

Results of the research and their discussion:
An increasing number of teachers (even the older generation) and students are math magician division convinced that as a result of their knowledge of computers, modern graphics programs and acquired work skills, graduates will be better prepared for professional life. This means that they will be able to easily compete on the labor market. Computerization in graphical education of university students is not an end in itself, but a means to achieve a goal. The Department of Engineering and Computer Graphics is equipped with 3 modern computer classrooms, where students of different faculties study. The range of computer usage at the department in the educational process is very large: lectures, practical classes, consultations, testing, accounting of students’ progress, conferences, Olympiads, rankings, etc. The load in computer classrooms is very high, every day about 10 hours (5-6 pairs). Wishing to improve the quality of education of future graduates, teachers of graphic arts disciplines strive to apply various technologies of education using PC in educational situations. The use of computer-assisted learning brings the necessary pedagogical effect only if the teacher who supervises students’ learning is highly qualified. Currently, the math magician division majority of teachers in our department have completed professional development courses and have extensive experience in teaching many modern graphics programs (Compass, AztoCas, MS PowerPoint, etc.). They are constantly introducing new information technologies into the educational process and are active PC users. The teachers of the department in the computer classroom are constantly mastering new ways of activity, developing educational situations. Lectures on descriptive geometry, as a rule, are accompanied by presentations developed on all topics of the discipline. PCs allow qualitatively to prepare methodical and didactic materials for educational process and CMC. Abstracts of lectures on descriptive geometry, practical classes on engineering graphics, cards with individual options for independent work in various graphic disciplines, electronic textbooks – this is not a complete list of teaching materials of the department. Preparation of materials for teaching aids provided to students in electronic form, test control, preparation of materials for certification of the university, etc. – daily classes by a faculty member of the department. The department developed about 16 electronic textbooks in various disciplines using presentations MS Power Point 2010 and video, which formed the basis of the CMC and are stored in the methodical office of the department. At the organization of system of additional education of young teachers and assistants: professional development, exchange of experience, carrying out of seminars, conferences, etc.
